Michigan State’s Miles Bridges: ‘We want to send the seniors out right’
There’s no telling when Michigan State’s season will come to an end, but Miles Bridges doesn’t see it happening for a while.
The Big ten Network interviewed the Spartans star Tuesday, during which he dropped a couple hints that he knows exactly when his season will end.
He mentioned his teammate Lourawls “Tum Tum” Nairn Jr. and said, “It’s sad that I can only play for Tum for six more games.”
Of course, those six games would be exactly enough to win a national championship.
He then mentioned the senior class as a whole, making it clear the Spartans are going to do everything in their power to play together for just a bit longer.
“We want to send the seniors out right,” Bridges said. “That gives us extra motivation.”
Bridges also addressed the season as a whole, which has seen the Spartans go 29-4 and earn a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament where they’ll take on Bucknell at 7:10 p.m. ET on Friday.
“This season’s meant a lot to me,” said Bridges. “I’ve learned a lot of things on and off the court. How to handle adversity better.”
