Michigan State’s LJ Scott was mum on his NFL future on Tuesday, but won’t be quiet for too long.
The junior running back said will announce whether he will remain a Spartan for his senior year or skip it and go to the NFL after the team’s bowl game.
“As of right now, I’m just focused on the rest of the season, and we’ll see where things are at after the season,” he said.
He then added: “Two more wins, and we’ll see what’s up.”
Scott was also asked if he will play in the bowl game and was asked about guys like Christian McCaffery, who sat out Stanford’s bowl game last year.
“Those guys were in a better situation than I am now, so we’ll see what happens,” he said.
The Spartans, at 8-3, are headed to a bowl game and likely a decent one at that. Scott has been a big part of the team’s strong season, rushing for 731 yards and six touchdowns.
Last season, he ran for 994 yards and six scores.
