Riley Bullough will start at middle linebacker against Northwestern, the school announced. He hasn’t played since the Spartans’ Week 3 win at Notre Dame because of a shoulder injury.

Bullough, a fifth-year senior, has played in 28 career games, making 101 tackles with five sacks. He made five tackles in Michigan State’s first two games of the year.
Mark Dantonio said earlier this week that Bullough was “close” to returning.
Shane Jones made 13 tackles in his place last week against BYU.
