Here’s his full statement:
First of all I want to thank God for everything he has done for me. I wanna thank him for giving me the opportunity and the skills & without my family & my parents for pushing me so hard and helping me through this long process also the coaches and everyone who has supported me without them I wouldn’t be able to make this decision. I want to thank all the schools that have given me an opportunity to play at the next level but my recruitment is shut down and my final decision I will be attending Michigan State University. #GoGreen #MSU21 #SpartanUp
Brown, a three-star cornerback listed as an athlete on 247Sports, was originally committed to West Virginia, one of the first Power 5 schools who offered the Woodland (Stockbridge, Ga.) High ballhawk a scholarship.
At some point in the process, Brown reconsidered and is a late addition to a Spartan recruiting class that also includes cornerbacks Tre Persons and Josiah Scott.
Brown is rated the No. 74 athlete in the nation by 247Sports as well as the No. 117 prospect out of the state of Georgia.
