Henderson, who is 6-foot, 189 pounds, had 12 offers including ones from Boston College and Kentucky. He took an unofficial visit to Michigan State last month, according to 247 Sports.
Henderson is ranked as the 11th-best athlete in the 2018 class by 247 and the Pickerington, Ohio native is tabbed as his state’s No. 7 recruit in his class.
While Henderson is the first Spartans commit in the 2018 class, their 2017 class currently sits at 16 players and is rated 27th nationally.
