Michigan State players got their Holiday Bowl championship rings this week. The jewelry celebrates more than just the Spartans win over Washington State last December.
Included on the rings is the score from Michigan State’s win over Michigan at the Big House in October. Defensive back Josiah Scott tweeted a picture of the rings Friday morning.

Michigan State beat Michigan, 14-10, on a soggy night in Ann Arbor last season. After a 3-9 season in 2016, it was a victory that showed the Spartans were for real in 2017. Michigan State finished the season 10-3 with the Holiday Bowl victory.
Michigan State has won four of its last five meetings with Michigan, and Jim Harbaugh is just 1-2 so far in the in-state rivalry. They’ll face off again Oct. 20 in East Lansing.
