Michigan State’s 2019 football class received a boost Thursday night.
Alante Brown, a 3-star athlete and dual-threat QB according to 247Sports, announced his verbal commitment to the Spartans on social media.

Brown, 5-foot-10 and 181-pounds, has played a lot of quarterback at Simeon High School in Chicago.
Brown is ranked as the No. 107 athlete in the Class of 2019 and No. 24 player in the state of Illinois. Michigan State’s class now ranks No. 27 nationally and No. 7 in the Big Ten.
Brown is also the third athlete to verbally commit to the Spartans for 2019 and no QB has committed at the time of his announcement.
