Here’s the thing: It’s annoying being a fan of a team, going to a home game and having the stadium rocking with opposing fans. That’s rarely a good experience.
Tom, a Michigan State fan, agrees with this sentiment. He voiced his displeasure on the Staudt on Sports radio show on Lansing (Mich.)’s The Game 730AM.
In fact, he believes so strongly that Spartan fans shouldn’t be selling their tickets to Michigan fans — the two play Oct. 29 in East Lansing — he was moved to tears.
Things get emotional around the 1:25 mark:
“I just want to say that, ya know, these Spartan fans selling tickets to Michigan,” Tom says through tears, “shame on ’em.”
Amen, Tom. Amen.
