Michigan State freshman forward Miles Bridges is one of 16 freshmen who will make the biggest impact this college basketball season, according to Yahoo! college basketball writer Jeff Eisenberg. Bridges ranks eighth on the list. He was the only Big Ten player included.
“Of the four top 50 prospects Michigan State signed in the 2016 class, Bridges may play the biggest role for the Spartans this season,” Eisenberg wrote. “The 6-foot-7 McDonald’s All-American should start immediately and can mask Michigan State’s lack of frontcourt depth if he can excel as an undersized power forward.”
Bridges was a five-star recruit who chose Michigan State over Indiana and Kentucky.
