Thursday Night Football had a special Michigan State connection on a touchdown pass for the San Francisco 49ers.
Brian Hoyer found college teammate Garrett Celek for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter of the game against the Los Angeles Rams. It closed the 49ers’ deficit to 34-26 but the Rams still held on for a 41-39 victory.
The 1-yard touchdown pass helped the duo equal their connection total while with the Spartans.
