Michigan State basketball will have a special look in its season-opening game.
The Spartans will wear Nike black camo for Friday night’s Armed Forces Classic game vs. Arizona. The game will be played in Honolulu.
The uniforms have the Spartans logo on the side of the shorts and “U.S.A.” on the front of the jerseys.

Michigan State is ranked No. 12 in the AP Poll and No. 9 in the Coaches Poll to begin the season. Arizona is ranked No. 10 and No. 11.
Michigan State isn’t the only Big Ten team participating in the Armed Forces Classic. No. 11/12 Indiana is facing No. 3/2 Kansas and will also be wearing special uniforms. The game is scheduled for a 9 p.m. start.
Indiana’s uniforms have “COURAGE” written on the front, with red and white striping on the sides.
