Dismissed from Michigan State in April following the filing of sexual assault charges against him, former Spartans defensive end Auston Robertson will enroll at Garden City Community College in Kansas, according to MLive.com.
Robertson played seven games for the Spartans as a freshman last season but also had trouble as a recruit. He was arrested on a battery charge and was accused of inappropriately touching a female classmate.
The defensive end is currently free on a $250,ooo bail bond. MLive reported that one of Robertson’s attorneys, Brent Leder, said the coach at Garden City is aware of Robertson’s situation and will monitor his movements.
