Michigan State running back LJ Scott will face some discipline, but he will play Saturday when the Spartans host Indiana (3:30 ET, ABC), coach Mark Dantonio announced in a statement Friday.
In his statement, Dantonio said that Scott now has a valid driver’s license and that he “resolved the issue completely.” The Michigan State coach said the junior’s status on Saturday will “be affected” but Scott will play against the Hoosiers.
“In what has been a lengthy process, LJ Scott now has a valid driver’s license, free of any restrictions,” Dantonio said. “He has resolved the matter completely, and has paid a price, both financially and publicly. His status will be affected for Saturday’s game, but he will play.”
Scott has 408 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on the season. He posted 194 yards and two scores against Minnesota last week.
