It’s quite a long shot, but oddsmakers are saying there is a chance that Michigan State forward Jaren Jackson Jr. could go No. 1 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft on Thursday night.
Sports book Bovada is giving Jackson a 33/1 chance to be picked first. The Phoenix Suns hold the No. 1 overall pick, and Arizona big man DeAndre Ayton is the overwhelming favorite to be the top pick. Here are the odds from Bovada:
- DeAndre Ayton 1/25
- Luka Doncic 15/1
- Marvin Bagley III 22/1
- Mohamed Bamba 33/1
- Jaren Jackson Jr. 33/1
- Michael Porter Jr. 45/1
- Trae Young 100/1
Jackson left Michigan State after averaging 10.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game in his one season with the Spartans. He will likely be among the top five picks on Thursday night.
CBS Sports had Jackson going fourth overall to the Memphis Grizzlies in its latest mock draft.
