Draymond Green has not made many fans in the Buckeye state during his career.
The former Michigan State star took another step in making himself a villain in Ohio on Friday night. In a chippy Game 4 of the NBA Finals — one in which Green was ejected before he wasn’t — the Warriors forward soaked in the hate from the Cleveland crowd.
After the game, Green, a Saginaw, Mich. native, explained his feelings toward the people of Cleveland.
“I don’t pay much attention to anybody in Cleveland, honestly,” Green said. “They don’t seem to be the sharpest people around.”

Green, in his fifth NBA season, is in his third consecutive NBA Finals against the Cavaliers and has been a big stoker of the rivalry. But perhaps Green still holds some resentment that Ohio State spoiled his Senior Day at Michigan State in 2012.
