Few Spartans played in more big games at Michigan State than Draymond Green.
The green and white legend made it to a pair of Final Fours and a third Sweet 16 in his college career. So any bit of March wisdom Green can impart on this young Spartans team before its second-round NCAA Tournament matchup, the better for Tom Izzo’s group.
Green was in attendance in Tulsa, Okla., for 9-seeded Michigan State’s game against Midwest top seed Kansas on Sunday afternoon, hanging out in the team’s locker room before tip-off.

Green, who has been to two NBA All-Star games in five seasons with the Golden State Warriors, got lucky in the scheduling. Golden State is off Sunday before facing the Thunder on Monday in Oklahoma City. The Spartans-Jayhawks game is just about 100 miles away.
Unfortunately for Izzo, Green is out of NCAA eligibility.
