As if the Michigan-Michigan State game needs anymore drama leading up to kickoff, the depth charts for the Wolverines and Spartans were released Friday. And left more questions than answers.
Per usual, Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh did not release his two-deep lineup. In fact, he didn’t release any names for any position. On the other side, the Spartans do their part to make up for the missing text, having an “OR” at seven different positions.

There are actually only a few changes from the lineup Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio released ahead of last week’s game against Maryland. Brian Lewerke and Tyler O’Connor are both listed at quarterback. Lewerke has started the past two games, with O’Connor coming off the bench.
At one cornerback sport, senior Darian Hicks and freshman Justin Layne are both listed as starters while sophomore Vayante Copeland and redshirt freshman Josh Butler are starters at the other.
The game between the No. 2 Wolverines (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) and Spartans (2-5, 0-4) is scheduled for noon ET on Saturday at East Lansing.
