Forget March Madness, this is June… Judgement?
As in, ESPN college basketball expert Joe Lunardi made his judgments for the 2018 NCAA Basketball Tournament field in his latest edition of Bracketology on Thursday. Five months before the season starts and more than nine months before the tournament, it’s all speculation, but it’s fun to see what next year’s field might look like.
Lunardi has seven Big Ten teams in his field, including Michigan State as a No. 2 seed. The Spartans will have big expectations heading into the 2017-18 season with a lot of talent returning. The Spartans were ranked as the No. 1 team in the country entering next season by NBC Sports.
Michigan State is behind No. 1 seeds Arizona, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky in Lunardi’s bracket. The Big Ten is also represented with Minnesota (6 seed), Michigan (7 seed), Purdue (7 seed), Northwestern (7 seed), Wisconsin (8 seed) and Maryland (11 seed).
