Former Michigan State wide receiver Bennie Fowler has signed with the Chicago Bears.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news on Friday, noting that the Bears and Fowler have agreed on a one-year deal.

After playing four years at Michigan State, Fowler signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2014.

He spent the 2014 season on the team’s practice squad, but later earned a spot in Denver’s receiving corps. From 2015-18, he played in 45 games (five starts) and made 56 catches for 698 yards and 3 touchdowns. Last season, Fowler finished with 29 catches for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns.
In his four years with the Spartans, Fowler made 93 receptions for 1,341 yards and 11 touchdowns.
