Three defensive players will not suit up when Michigan State hosts BYU on Saturday. Linebackers Riley Bullough and Jon Reschke will be sidelined, along with defensive tackle Raequan Williams, according to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press.
Cornerback Darian Hicks and LB Chris Frey will both play, Solari said. Both were taken out of last Saturday’s game against Indiana with injuries.
Bullough and Reschke have both played only two games, and have registered 12 and 13 tackles, respectively. Williams has recorded 12 tackles over four games.
Hicks and Frey have both started all four games of the season.
The Spartans enter Saturday’s game on a two-game losing streak to Wisconsin and Indiana. They’ve dropped out of the rankings after reaching as high as No. 8 two weeks ago.
