Michigan State will have a star-studded lineup Saturday at Spartan Stadium.
A pair of five-star basketball recruits will visit East Lansing this weekend as Michigan State’s football team plays host to in-state rival Michigan.
Gary Trent Jr. announced Wednesday via Twitter that he will make his official visit, and on Thursday MLive.com reported that Spartans commit Jaren Jackson Jr. will accompany Trent. Both players are members of the 2017 recruiting class.

Trent, the nation’s No. 11 overall recruit at Prolific Prep in Napa, California, is currently uncommitted. Earlier this month, he placed Michigan State in his top three along with Duke and UCLA. Trent was slated to visit for Michigan State Madness two weeks ago, but decided to stick with his original plan.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard will be joined on his visit by Jackson, who committed to the Spartans on Sept. 15. Michigan State will hope the No. 22 recruit in the 2017 class can help sway Trent’s decision.
If he can, Michigan State might have a big weekend regardless of the results on the football field.
