The papers are in. Michigan State men’s basketball officially added its second commitment Wednesday with the signing of 4-star Grand Rapids (Mich.) Christian forward Xavier Tillman.

Spartans assistant coach Dane Fife tweeted about it, and Tillman’s mother, Tanya Powell-May, confirmed that he had signed his national letter of intent. Tillman did not hold a ceremony.
The 6-foot-8 bruiser of a big man joins 5-star forward Jaren Jackson Jr., who signed Wednesday morning at La Lumiere (Ind.) School. Those two alone have given Michigan State the No. 28 class in the nation, and the Spartans almost certainly aren’t done.
Tillman averaged 11.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks for the Spiece Indy Heat on the 2016 Nike EYBL circuit alongside Jackson, his teammate.
