Kentucky got a big commitment Monday in CB Yusuf Corker.
The 3-star recruit from Stockbridge, Ga., picked the Wildcats over Tennessee and South Carolina. It was an upset for Kentucky. The Vols were the favorites to get his commitment.
“It was a very tough decision but I feel like I picked the school that best suits me,” Corker told Scout.com’s Chad Simmons. “I know Kentucky will make me happy going into my next four years of college.”
Kentucky now has 22 commits in its 2017 class. Corker is the Wildcats’ fourth highest-rated commit.
Corker’s Twitter account seemed to indicate on Christmas Eve that his final four was Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and Michigan State.
Corker is the No. 36 prospect in the state of Georgia and the N0. 38 corner in the country for 2017. He also had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Michigan State and Penn State, among others.
