Down 7-0 to Penn State, Maryland quarterback Perry Hills tossed a check down to running back Ty Johnson on a broken play.
Johnson had other ideas, as he turned a pass in the backfield into a 66-yard touchdown, burning Nittany Lion defenders as he cruised down the sideline.

The pass was the longest pass play of Hills’s Maryland career, and he didn’t have to throw the ball more than three yards.
