The Terps went 25-7 overall and 12-4 in conference, making a run to the third round of the Big Ten Tournament before falling to Ohio State.
As a team, the Terps run deep with five players in double-digit scoring and a few more very close to it. Kalia Charles averages 18.3 points per game to lead the squad, while Blair Watson averages 13.8 right behind her.
Watson also leads in rebounds per game with 8.7.
The Tigers are 24-5 and are led by Bella Alarie with 13.3 points per game and Leslie Robinson with 10.2 points per game.
Should the Terps advance, they will face the winner of No. 4 NC State and No. 13 Elon. Mississippi State is the No. 1 seed in their bracket, while Texas is No. 2.
