Maryland will be facing one of its old ACC foes later this month.
The 6-6 Terrapins were picked to represent the Big Ten in the Quick Lane Bowl against Boston College. The game is set for Dec. 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET in Detroit.

The Terps started their season with four consecutive wins, but won just two of their final eight games and finished 3-6 in the Big Ten. Maryland beat Rutgers, 31-13, in its regular-season finale to become bowl eligible.
Boston College also went 6-6 (3-6 in the ACC) and is bowl eligible thanks to a victory over Wake Forest in its regular-season finale.
Maryland was last bowl eligible in the 2014 season and lost to Stanford in the Fight Hunger Bowl.
