“Jordan’s an outstanding young man and a beloved member of our Maryland football family,” Terrapins coach DJ Durkin said in a statement. “Our entire program is supporting Jordan and his family during this time. We’re continuing to keep Jordan in our thoughts and prayers.”
McNair, a redshirt freshman from Randallstown, Md., played in one game in 2017.
He came to the Terps as a 4-star tackle, the No. 7 recruit in Maryland and the No. 29 tackle recruit in the nation.
