On Monday, Maryland got a verbal commitment from a 6-foot-5, 265-pound offensive tackle in Parker Moorer.

Moorer is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports and is the No. 52 offensive tackle in the Class of 2019. Moorer, from Charlotte, N.C., currently has nine scholarship offers with Maryland being the lone Big Ten team. West Virginia and Louisville are a couple of the teams who have offered.
With Moorer committed, Maryland ranks as having the No. 40 class in the country and No. 10 class in the Big Ten. He is the fourth member to verbally commit.
At the Rivals camp in Charlotte on Sunday, Moorer was named the offensive lineman MVP.
