Former Maryland basketball player Cliff Tucker died at age 29 on Monday according to a release from the school. Reports said it was a car accident.

Tucker, a guard, played four years with the Terrapins, graduating in 2011. His 131 appearances were 12th in program history for games played and his .352 3-point percentage is in the top 20 in the program.
Tucker averaged 6 points per game in his career and 9.6 in his senior season, when he made 16 starts. He also helped to lead the Terps to the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and 2010.
