Jackson made his decision just in time, as the deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft list is slated for Wednesday. He originally declared for the draft without an agent on April 13. The forward wasn’t placed in DraftExpress’ most recent mock draft.

As a freshman, the 6-foot-7, 225-pound Jackson averaged 10.5 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting, along with 6 rebounds per game. With guard Melo Trimble departing for the NBA, he should be one of the Terrapins’ top options next season.
