Maryland LB Isaiah Davis was immediately ejected from Saturday’s game against Penn State after he leveled Nittany Lions K Joey Julius after whistle.
Had he not been tossed, coach DJ Durkin would have taken care of it himself.
“If he wasn’t thrown out of the game, he was removed from the game by me,” Durkin said, via the Testudo Times. “He would not have played another snap of the game in any phase. That is not our program. We will not do that. That message had been made and will be made even clearer now.”

Minnesota coach Tracy Claeys said the same thing after Gophers LB Jaylen Waters did something similar to Julius last week.
