Maryland is getting one of its key offensive pieces back for the 2018 season. Derwin Gray, a skilled offensive lineman who started for the Terps at left tackle in 2017, announced he will come back to school for the 2018 season.
“After many sleepless nights and countless conversations with my family and coaches, I have decided to hold off on my NFL dreams for one more year and return to the University of Maryland for my fifth and final season,” Gray wrote. “…I have the utmost confidence in Coach Durkin’s plans for me and this team, as we attempt to take this program to new heights. I have every intention of using my final season to be the best possible representation of this great program, both on and off the field.”
