When the Carolina Panthers drafted former Maryland wide receiver D.J. Moore with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, it officially marked the beginning of Moore’s professional career. Now, the unsigned draft pick is looking to earn a spot on the Panthers’ roster for the upcoming season as he goes through his rookie minicamp.
While it is very likely that Moore — the first wide receiver taken in the 2018 NFL Draft — will earn a rookie contract prior to the start of the 2018 season, he still has to prove his worth to the Panthers. Moore did just that during his minicamp, showcasing his speed and athletic ability on the field.
The Panthers Twitter account shared a highlight video of Moore’s rookie minicamp on Saturday. Watch the video below:

Moore is coming off his best season with the Terrapins, as he made 80 catches for 1,033 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2017.
