You wouldn’t think Cordarrian Richardson’s recruitment could get much crazier after he committed to Maryland from space Wednesday, but it looks like it has.
UCF coach Scott Frost threw a curveball Thursday morning through his Twitter account, when he welcomed the 4-star running back to the Knights’ program:

Richardson then retweeted the message from his own Twitter account. Sp, apparently, Maryland coach D.J. Durkin was only able to claim the No. 10 overall running back for one day, as Richardson has apparently signed with UCF.
This move comes as a real surprise, as Richardson didn’t even have UCF in his final four schools in Wednesday’s video. The other three were Michigan State, Oklahoma and Ole Miss.
247Sports pegs Richardson as the No. 8 overall recruit out of Tennessee.
