While many pundits list Okonkwo as a tight end, the 247Sports composite has him as the No. 95 wide receiver in the nation for 2018. The media outlet also tabs the 6-foot-3, 224-pound Hillgrove product as the 53rd best Georgia recruit. He chose the Terps over Georgia Tech, Wisconsin and Iowa, among others.
He’s the 19th commitment for Maryland’s 2018 recruiting class, which ranks 17th in the country and fourth in the Big Ten.
