Maryland coach Mark Turgeon picked up a big recruiting win Wednesday afternoon.
4-star guard Darryl Morsell (Baltimore) will be staying in Maryland. The Class of 2017 guard announced his commitment to the Terrapins during a Wednesday press conference.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound guard is No. 79 nationally by 247 Sports’ composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player in Maryland for the 2017 class.
On Oct. 8, Morsell listed Dayton, Maryland and Notre Dame as his final three teams.

Morsell is Maryland’s second 2017 commit. 4-star C Bruno Fernando committed on October 2.
