Maryland football has picked up its 21st commitment for the 2017 class.
3-star defensive back Kenneth Bennett from Philadelphia announced his commitment Wednesday by sharing a video on Twitter. He ended the highlight-filled video with “#GoTerps!”
The 6-foot-2, 196-pound cornerback is ranked as Pennsylvania’s No. 38 prospect by 247 Sports’ composite.

Bennett had named Maryland, Pitt and Temple as his finalists.
According to 247 Sports, Maryland has the No. 14 recruiting class in the country and No. 3 in the Big Ten for 2017.
Maryland is 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the Big Ten as it tries to reach bowl eligibility in coach D.J. Durkin’s first season. No. 5 Ohio State visits for a 3:30 p.m. EST Saturday kick on ESPN.
