Wisconsin was poised to go up on Iowa by double digits before halftime.
After a huge play and a missed tackle, the No. 10 Badgers had the ball inside the 5-yard line. On 3rd-and-goal from the 1, Wisconsin handed the ball off to running back Corey Clement, and just inches away from touchdown, linebacker Josey Jewell kept the Badgers off the board.
Jewell — who had a targeting call against him reversed earlier in the game — knocked the ball loose and cornerback Desmond King fell on top of it in the end zone, keeping Wisconsin’s lead at 7-3.

Iowa took over and turned a possession into three points before halftime.
The fumble will be a bad case of deja vu for Wisconsin fans. Last year in a loss against Iowa, then quarterback Joel Stave fumbled on the 1-yard line against the Hawkeyes.
