IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media on Tuesday. Most of the press conference was devoted to where the Hawkeyes are and how they will respond following a 41-14 loss to No. 8 Penn State last week.
Ferentz said the Hawkeyes were “committed” and “low maintenance.” Those comments seem to refute what Penn State running back Saquon Barkley said: that Iowa basically quit. Ferentz also compared the Penn State loss to the 44-7 defeat to Arizona State in 2004.
Here is video of what Ferentz said in advance of Iowa facing No. 2 Michigan on Saturday (8:12 p.m. ET, ABC).
