IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa DT Nathan Bazata left the game with No. 10 Wisconsin with what appeared to be a lower leg injury on Saturday.
Bazata was injured in the second quarter. The trainers looked at his right leg and helped him limp off the field. He walked on his own back to the locker room and making it to the sideline.
Bazata, a starter, recorded three tackles in the game before getting hurt. DT Faith Ekakitie will likely see the majority of snaps next to Jaleel Johnson as long as Bazata is out.
Ekakitie entered the game with 18 tackles this season.
