Peter Jok will get the chance to prove he’s one of the best shooters in the nation later this month.
Jok was selected to the field of the State Farm 3-point contest, which will take place on March 30 in Phoenix, ahead of the Final 4. The event takes place on the same night of the college dunk contest. A full list of participants for both events will be released at a later date.

A 37.6 percent 3-point shooter during his four-year Hawkeye career, Jok has drained 211 triples (and counting) during his time in an Iowa uniform. The 6-foot-6 guard hit 80 threes last season, and he can match that total with one more long ball during the Hawkeyes NIT run.
Jok is the fifth Hawkeye to compete in the 3-point contest’s 29-year history and the first Iowa player to do so in a decade. Sharpshooter Adam Haluska last represented Iowa in the contest in 2007.
