Iowa’s Nick Wilson dismissed from team after OWI arrest
Iowa redshirt freshman LB Nick Wilson has been dismissed from the team following his arrest over the weekend, coach Kirk Ferentz announced Tuesday.
Wilson was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.
Wilson had a blood alcohol content level of .100 percent, according to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, and .08 is considered over the limit in Iowa.
WR Ogwo is done with football, moving to track. LB Nick Wilson is gone.

Wilson was not among the 105 players in Iowa’s fall camp. NCAA rules allow walk-ons without preferred status to join practice when classes start, which was this week.
Wilson was a 2-star recruit in the class of 2015 and held offers from only Iowa and Western Illinois. He was the No. 15 player in Iowa in that cycle.
Ferentz also announced that WR Emmanuel Ogwo, a 3-star recruit in the class of 2015, has left the team and will focus on running track instead.
