C.J. Beathard is doing it all against Purdue.
The senior quarterback scored against Purdue on a 15-yard scramble, the longest run of his career. Beathard didn’t have to do much as most Purdue defenders were locked up in coverage. He went untouched into the end zone to put the Hawkeyes up 14-0 in the first quarter.

The score was Beathard’s 10th career rushing touchdown. He had six last season.
On the next possession, the Hawkeyes and Beathard continued to pour it on. The quarterback hooked up with Riley McCarron for a 42-yard touchdown. The Hawkeyes look like they’ll coast in West Lafayette.
