The Iowa Hawkeyes’ postseason is going to get started just a little later than originally planned.
Because of a winter storm hitting the Northeast on Tuesday, Syracuse’s opening-round game against UNC-Greensboro in the NIT was moved to Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET — the original time for Iowa’s first-round NIT date with South Dakota.
However, because of the shift in Syracuse’s game, the Hawkeyes and Coyotes will now tip off at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game will still be aired on ESPN2.
Tonight's NIT game between SU and UNCG has been postponed because of the weather. It will be played March 15 at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.

Iowa is a No. 1 seed in the NIT after narrowly missing the NCAA Tournament with an 18-14 record. It’s the first time in three seasons Iowa has missed the Big Dance.
As of Monday night, Iowa said it had sold nearly 10,000 tickets for Wednesday’s game.
