IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa starting safety Miles Taylor was taken to the locker room and may be going through the concussion protocol, according to the Iowa radio broadcast.
Taylor was injured making a tackle on the first defensive play. The medical staff looked at Taylor on the sideline before taking him back to the locker room, according to the radio broadcast. Taylor came out of the locker room momentarily before returning to the locker room.
Taylor started the first nine games of the season. He recorded 45 tackles entering the Michigan game. Anthony Gair replaced Taylor in the lineup.
