Iowa didn’t have as many high-profile questions as others did — having a returning starting QB like C.J. Beathard helps with that — but there are some notes.
- Sean Welsh, who’s made 23 starts in his Iowa career (21 at guard, two at tackle), is listed as the starting center. Welsh had moved to center due to James Daniels’ knee injury. Daniels is listed as the starting right guard, but it’s something to keep an eye on throughout the game to see if there are changes.
- The starting WRs are: Jay Scheel, Matt VandeBerg and Riley McCarron.
- Freshman Keith Duncan is listed as the starting kicker.
Starting kicker for Iowa appears to be Keith Duncan. He was good at Kids' Day but his misses were blocked field goals.
