IOWA CITY, Iowa — The last thing Iowa needed to happen against Delaware State happened.
Guard Peter Jok left Thursday night’s game late in the first half with an apparent injury to his left hip. Jok rolled on the floor near the Iowa bench holding his left hip late as Carver-Hawkeye Arena got quiet very fast. The Iowa medical staff quickly looked at Jok before he limped to the locker room.
He was, however, able to return to the court, taking a seat on the Hawkeyes bench just before halftime. Iowa officially listed Jok as probable to return just before halftime.
Peter Jok (hip) is probable to return. #Hawkeyes

The preseason All-Big Ten selection is Iowa’s most important player, averaging 23.1 points per game.
Jok is down on the court. Things have obviously gotten very quiet. Left leg or hip. He's going to the back with the trainer.
