One former Iowa football player just gave back in a big way.
Former Hawkeyes standout and current Green Bay Packers defensive end Mike Daniels donated $100,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Thursday night at the Pat Summerall Dinner, according to Tony Dungy.

Daniels played from 2008-2011 for the Hawkeyes and finished with 123 total tackles with 27 for a loss and 15 1/2 sacks.
In 2012, he was drafted by the Packers in the fourth round of the NFL draft and has started 63 games, registering 207 total tackles and 27 sacks.
