It seems the Iowa Hawkeyes are on the verge of landing a third wide receiver in their 2018 recruiting class, and their seventh overall commit, Thursday night.

At this time I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play football. Without God and my family I don’t know where I would be. I would like to thank every coach that gave me a chance to be a part of their football team. After discussing it with my family I truly believe the University of Iowa is where I fit best both education and football wise. At this time I would like to verbally commit to the Hawkeyes.
Thomas can’t officially commit to Iowa until he visits this summer, according to Rob Howe of Hawkeye Nation. Iowa likes its recruits to meet with head coach Kirk Ferentz before committing. Thomas is rated as the No. 710 prospect in the 2018 class, the No. 121 receiver in the nation and the No. 115 overall prospect in Florida.
