Monday started with Iowa fans unable to watch the open spring practice coming up on Friday. Before the day was out, Iowa and the BTN2GO announced a streaming option. It’s great news for out-of-state fans. Click here for all the details.

Meet Noah Shannon

The Iowa 2018 defensive tackle signee is 6-foot-1 and 300 pounds. He is strong, team oriented and extremely athletic for a player of his size. There are a lot of reasons why the Hawkeyes were the first program to offer Noah Shannon a scholarship. To get out of a funk at the start of his senior year, Shannon needed to remember why Iowa offered him to start with. Here is the Land of 10 Next Generation profile of Shannon.

Scott Slutzker played tight end at Iowa 1991-95 and played three seasons in the NFL. What has he done since then? HawkeyeNation.com’s Rob Howe caught up with Slutzker, who lives in Charlotte, N.C., and sells medical devices.
